Well, here we are folks! It’s Freakin’ Chirstmas! My halls are fully decked, bells are jingled and all my candy canes are soaking in vodka. (seriously)  I’ve busted out my snow boots (even though its still in the damn 50’s here) and I’ve been tracking down the greatest shit I can think of to give this year. Yay! Santa! Just imagine my loudest ELF voice!

I like to be unique when I give gifts, but not obscure. I have found some really amazing things to give the loved one’s in your life. Things that actually have a life of their own! I’m not talking pets and shit, I’m talking products that give back, are created by hand and make the world a little better place. So let’s waste no time! Let’s get that shopping done so we can spend our nights snuggled by the fire, sippin’ cocoa in our fuzzy slippers humming The Christmas Song.

Kahiniwalla is a business which distributes Fair Trade products and tells the story behind those products. They care about the quality of their products, how they’re made with the bigger picture in mind. Pebble is one of these products designed by Samantha Morshed, a social entrepreneur based in Bangladesh.

Adorable, durable and sustainable toys, blankets and other textile goods hand-made from organic materials. Giving opportunity to artisans in Bangladesh and bringing joy into your home. My kiddos have been lugging around a couple of these handmade toys and they’ve really been through the ringer with my wild ones. They’ve held up in and outdoors and through the washer 5 or 100 times (who’s counting?). Such amazing quality with a higher purpose.

Yoobi.com provides school supplies to classrooms in need for every purchase you make!

Yoobi features some really cool and colorful gifts for the kiddoholiday-gift-guide4s in your life from crayon age to college age. There are tons of cool bundles for the coloring activist and great weekend bundles for tweens and teens. The coolest thing about Yoobi is this is a company that is very into giving. For every purchase that you make from Yoobi.com they donate school supplies to classroom in need, right here in the U.S. Now that is some serious Christmas Spirit … but Yoobi does this all year long!

holiday-gift-guide6Bitchy Stitches! Wha?? I am beyond thrilled to have stumbled upon Taylor and BStitchesbyTaylor. This is some serious handcrafted awesome art for that certain fucker in your life that always causes you gift giving anxiety. You know what I mean, that one son of a bitch who has everything – and the things they don’t have you could not possibly afford. But you love them because they’re a little nuts and maybe a lot inappropriate and this is the shit they deserve. Handmade sass for everyone in your family. Taylor even does custom orders so if you need a cross-stitched “assholery” sign, this is your place!!

holiday-gift-guide8holiday-gift-guide7Have you heard of Black Rifle Coffee Company? I’m sure you might have if you’re any type of hipster-hating, coffee-loving, gun-toting American! And if you’re all of these things and still have not hear of BRCC, you’re welcome. This veteran owned company based out of Seattle has a coffee subscription service! You will always be able to get shit done when you’re slogging down the Caffeinated As F*ck blend, drowning your drowsiness in Smooth Silencer blend, or just opt for the F*ck Hipsters roast and get operational. It’s no lie that I am a coffee addict – but if I weren’t I would drink this shit anyhow. Coffee or Die.

So there you have it – a quick round up of the most interesting, off the wall and out-of-the-box gift ideas for those hard to shop for peeps on your list. Handmade, Fair-Trade, Give Back & Veteran Owned to get you in the true spirit of giving.
